In year 6 we have been making footballs just like they do in south africa. we used carrier bags and string to make them, here is just one of them!

In year 6 we have been doing some art based on Tilly Willis. We have picked one of her pictures and then have copied what the picture is! You might see some of our drawing in the office! i hope that you like them.
The End Of Year Production! June 12, 2010
We are doing Grease for our play. Everyone is excited to do this particular theme and are ready to rehearse. The rumours were right, folks. Year 6 really IS the best. We do many other things as well as rehearsing, like making an African ball out of carrier bags and creating any-style masks.

The Highway Man! May 21, 2010
We have all read and finished the narrative poem of The Highway Man. Now, we are moving on to producing a piece of artwork (collage to be more specific) in groups of three. Everyone is enjoying this work and everyone’s art looks great. Today was the last day of the tests so no more toast. BOO HOO!!! Now it’s time for lessons as a whole class (as there are no sets) and to look forward to a couple of months worth of fun,fun,fun! Monday is our trip guys so I hope you have prepared your clothes.
